Tools

Every Recruiter MCP tool and the operation behind it.

Each tool is an Invyte operation, named with an underscore: pipeline.setDisposition is pipeline_setDisposition. Your client only sees the tools your role allows. Two more tools belong to the server itself:

ToolWhat it does
confirm_actionRuns an action you reviewed and agreed to.
retry_actionChecks what happened to an uncertain call, with exactly its values.

Jobs & workflows

OperationWhat it doesEffect
jobs.list
MCP jobs_list
List Jobs
List the Jobs you can see, most recently updated first, with their status (draft, open, paused, closed or archived), Client and applicationCount (its applications at every stage, rejected and withdrawn included), a page at a time (`next`). Archived Jobs are included unless you filter by status; `status: archived` lists only them.
Read
jobs.get
MCP jobs_get
View a Job
See one Job: its description, requirements, criteria and skills, company, salary band, AI Persona, Client and publication state, applicationCount (every stage), and, where you have access, its Sourcing setup, its workflow steps (each one a candidate can be placed at is marked) and how many candidates are in each Review Board column.
Read
jobs.getDraft
MCP jobs_getDraft
View a Job draft
See a Job that is still being written: everything it says so far, its revision for `jobs.saveDraft`, the step of Job creation its author reached, and the workflow being prepared for it.
Read
workflows.listTemplates
MCP workflows_listTemplates
List workflow templates
List the workflow templates a Job's workflow can start from: Invyte's and your organization's, most recently updated first.
Read
workflows.getTemplate
MCP workflows_getTemplate
View a workflow template
See one workflow template's steps, their settings, and how candidates move between them.
Read
workflows.forJob
MCP workflows_forJob
View a Job's workflow
See the workflow a Job's candidates go through: its steps, their settings, how candidates move between them, and, where you can see the pipeline, how many candidates each step's Waiting Gates are holding.
Read
jobs.createDraft
MCP jobs_createDraft
Start a Job draft
Start a new unpublished Job with whatever is known so far. Nobody outside the team sees it until it is published.
Write
jobs.saveDraft
MCP jobs_saveDraft
Save a Job draft
Change an unpublished Job's details or its Sourcing setup, or only where the Job creation flow reopens. Returns the draft's new revision.
Write
jobs.update
MCP jobs_update
Edit a published Job
Change a published Job's details or its Sourcing setup. The Job must stay complete; its workflow and candidates are unchanged.
Write
jobs.archive
MCP jobs_archive
Archive a Job
Archive a published Job for good: it can never be reopened or published again. It stops taking applications, its sourcing stops and candidates' scheduled reminders are cancelled; its candidates and history stay readable (jobs.list with status archived). To stop a Job for now, pause it with jobs.setStatus (status paused) and reopen it later with jobs.publish.
Can't be undone
jobs.setClient
MCP jobs_setClient
Set a Job's Client
Put a Job under one of the organization's Clients, or take it out. People with a role on that Client then reach the Job.
Write
workflows.createFromTemplate
MCP workflows_createFromTemplate
Start a Job's workflow from a template
Start the Job's workflow draft from one of the organization's or Invyte's templates, optionally with step changes made to it in the same call (changes). The draft does nothing until it is assigned. Replacing an existing draft (replaceDraft) loses it for good, so that shows what is lost and waits for your go-ahead.
Write
workflows.assign
MCP workflows_assign
Assign a Job's workflow
Check the unpublished Job's workflow draft and make it the workflow candidates will go through once the Job is published.
Write
workflows.duplicate
MCP workflows_duplicate
Duplicate a workflow
Copy a workflow you can see into the organization's workflow library.
Write
locations.list
MCP locations_list
List locations
Where the open Jobs you can see are, and where the applicants of Jobs whose pipeline you see are, grouped by country, then state, then city.
Read
jobs.publish
MCP jobs_publish
Publish a Job
Open a draft Job, or reopen a paused or closed one, on your public job board where anyone can apply; optionally list it on Google for Jobs. Opening a draft for the first time also starts its external sourcing when that is switched on: one paid partner search, checked against the daily sourcing budget like sourcing.start, and skipped (the Job still opens) when that budget is spent.
Reaches people
workflows.list
MCP workflows_list
List workflows
List the organization's workflows: the library, and Jobs' workflows where you can see them, most recently updated first. Templates are workflows.listTemplates.
Read
workflows.get
MCP workflows_get
View a workflow
See one workflow from the library or a Job: its steps, their settings, and how candidates move between them.
Read
workflows.create
MCP workflows_create
Create a workflow
Create a workflow in the organization's library, blank (Application Received only) or from a template. Then edit its steps with workflows.update.
Write
workflows.update
MCP workflows_update
Edit a library workflow
Rename a library workflow or change its steps: add, remove, move or configure a step, or connect and disconnect steps. A Decision's rules read fields listed by workflows.decisionFields. A Job's workflow changes through workflows.saveJobDraft.
Write
workflows.delete
MCP workflows_delete
Delete a library workflow
Delete a workflow from the organization's library, for good. Workflows a Job uses, and the history of Jobs' workflows, can't be deleted.
Can't be undone
workflows.createTemplate
MCP workflows_createTemplate
Create a workflow template
Add a template to your organization's template library, blank or saved from a workflow's steps. Settings that belong to one Job (custom agents, scenario pools) are left for each Job to set up.
Write
workflows.updateTemplate
MCP workflows_updateTemplate
Edit a workflow template
Rename or recategorise one of your organization's templates, or change its steps like workflows.update. Jobs already started from it keep their own steps.
Write
workflows.deleteTemplate
MCP workflows_deleteTemplate
Delete a workflow template
Remove one of your organization's templates from its template library. Workflows and Jobs started from it keep their steps; Invyte's templates can't be deleted.
Can't be undone
workflows.getJobDraft
MCP workflows_getJobDraft
View a Job's workflow draft
See the workflow draft being prepared for a Job (its steps, revision and what still needs fixing) and the workflow assigned now. Edit it with workflows.saveJobDraft.
Read
workflows.checkDesign
MCP workflows_checkDesign
Check a workflow design for a Job
See what a Job's workflow would be if it started from a template, the Job's own draft or live workflow, or blank, with these step changes, and every problem that would stop it being assigned or published. Nothing is saved.
Read
workflows.decisionFields
MCP workflows_decisionFields
List the fields a Decision rule can check
Before writing a Decision step's rules, read which fields they may compare: UMatch and other Application signals (overall score, red flags, must-haves, experience, verification) and earlier steps' results, each with its type, scale, allowed values and operators. Name a Job (its workflow draft), a workflow or a template, and the Decision step or the step a new Decision will follow. Rules go in the Decision's settings as `paths: [{ name, logic: "and", conditions: [{ sourceType, signalKey or sourceNodeId, field, operator, value }] }]` with `elsePath`, the path everyone else takes; each path name and the elsePath is an exit to connect. Never guess a field; a rule that reads one not listed here is refused.
Read
workflows.saveJobDraft
MCP workflows_saveJobDraft
Edit a Job's workflow draft
Change the steps of a Job's workflow draft: add, remove, move or configure a step, or connect and disconnect steps; rename it. A Decision's rules read fields listed by workflows.decisionFields. Candidates are unaffected until it is assigned (workflows.assign) or, on a live Job, published (workflows.publishToJob).
Write
workflows.copyFromJob
MCP workflows_copyFromJob
Copy another Job's workflow
Start a Job's workflow draft as a copy of another Job's current workflow. Settings that belong to the other Job are left to set up again. Replacing an existing draft (replaceDraft) loses it for good, so that shows what is lost and waits for your go-ahead.
Write
workflows.unassign
MCP workflows_unassign
Remove a Job's assigned workflow
Take the assigned workflow off an unpublished Job. Its draft stays, to edit and assign again.
Write
workflows.previewPublish
MCP workflows_previewPublish
Preview publishing a Job's workflow draft
Before publishing a live Job's workflow draft: each step change against the current workflow and against each older version candidates are still on, and which current candidates could move onto it and why the others can't.
Read
workflows.publishToJob
MCP workflows_publishToJob
Publish a live Job's workflow draft
Make a live Job's workflow draft the workflow its candidates follow: new applicants from now on, and the current candidates you choose (they may be emailed that new steps were added). Send the draft revision you previewed; a draft that changed since is refused.
Reaches people
workflows.history
MCP workflows_history
A Job's workflow history
Each time a live Job's workflow was published, newest first, a page at a time: when, why, by whom, and how moving each chosen candidate went, with why anyone was skipped and whether their new-steps email went.
Read
workflows.scenarios
MCP workflows_scenarios
List AI Fluency scenarios
The published AI Fluency scenarios an AI Fluency step's scenario pool can include (`scenarioRevisionIds` in its settings).
Read
workflows.generateAgentPrompt
MCP workflows_generateAgentPrompt
Write a custom agent's interview prompt
Draft the instructions for a Custom Agent interview step from its main goal and skills. Nothing is saved: put the prompt in the step's settings. Paid: one AI model call, so it waits for your go-ahead first.
WritePaid
jobs.setStatus
MCP jobs_setStatus
Pause or close a Job
Pause a published Job (it stops taking applications and leaves your job board until reopened with jobs.publish), or close it (the same, and candidates' scheduled reminder emails are cancelled). Pausing needs Publish Jobs; closing needs Archive Jobs.
Reaches people
jobs.delete
MCP jobs_delete
Delete a Job
Delete a Job for good. A draft that was never published is removed; a published Job disappears from every list with its candidates, its sourcing stops and candidates' scheduled reminders are cancelled. To keep its history, use jobs.archive instead.
Can't be undone

Pipeline

OperationWhat it doesEffect
notes.add
MCP notes_add
Add a note
Add a note to a candidate's application, or to one of their workflow steps (stageId) or Activity Runs (activityRunRef). Everyone on the Job's team can read it.
Write
pipeline.analytics
MCP pipeline_analytics
Pipeline analytics
One Job's Review Board counts and conversion, with UMatch, each named Interview activity and each Job Workflow Playground activity scored separately; plus the Command Centre's figures: email reach, the Pitch Room funnel, 14-day and week-on-week history, sources and days waiting per stage.
Read
pipeline.move
MCP pipeline_move
Invite an applicant to the next step
Move an Applied candidate to Invyted. Invyte emails them an invitation to continue their application, with your own message if you write one. The result says whether the email is queued, sent, failed or unconfirmed, and what to do next.
Reaches people
pipeline.setDisposition
MCP pipeline_setDisposition
Shortlist or reject a candidate
Shortlist or reject a candidate on the board. Nothing is emailed; their open steps close and their application page closes. Moves that would close work they have started need those warnings confirmed by name. When it would cancel an invitation or reminder email still waiting to go to them, it lists those emails and waits for your go-ahead.
Write
pipeline.placeAtNode
MCP pipeline_placeAtNode
Place a candidate at a workflow step
Move a candidate to a step of the Job's workflow (pipeline.placementMap lists the steps). Run pipeline.previewPlacement first. When the move opens steps for them, Invyte emails them that their next step is ready. Returns the plan it committed.
Reaches people
pipeline.decideReview
MCP pipeline_decideReview
Decide a Human Review
Choose a path for a candidate waiting at a Human Review step. When the path opens steps for them, Invyte queues an email telling them their next activities are ready. Returns where the candidate went and whether that email was queued.
Reaches people
pipeline.setReminders
MCP pipeline_setReminders
Turn reminder emails on or off
Schedule reminder emails asking a candidate to finish their steps (gentle, standard or finish today), or stop them.
Reaches people
pipeline.call
MCP pipeline_call
Log a call
Record a call with a candidate: how it went, details they shared, a note and a follow-up date. Nothing is sent to them; "Not interested" stops their reminder emails.
Write
pipeline.previewAdd
MCP pipeline_previewAdd
Preview adding people to a Job
For Talent Hub people (keys as `talent.list` gave them, an Invyte Network person's `person_v1.…` key included), which email each would get if added to this Job now. Adds no one.
Read
pipeline.contactLog
MCP pipeline_contactLog
Contact history
An Application's contact history, newest first: emails sent or held (what happened to each), calls, reminders, notes and moves, plus the next call-back and reminders.
Read
pipeline.nudge
MCP pipeline_nudge
Nudge a candidate
Email a candidate about their next step on this Job, in your words or Invyte's. Only when a Nudge is due: not while one is waiting, after they unsubscribed, or once the Job is closed.
Reaches people
pipeline.addPerson
MCP pipeline_addPerson
Add someone to a Job
Put a Talent Hub person forward for a Job, by the key `talent.list` gave (an Invyte Network person's `person_v1.…` key works too). A member who said yes to roles like this joins the pipeline and is told; anyone else is asked first by email (members to say yes, others to join Invyte). Never sends when they declined this Job, asked not to be emailed about roles, or have no address: it is refused with the reason and what to do instead.
Reaches people
pipeline.board
MCP pipeline_board
Review Board
One Job's Review Board, a page of cards at a time with the whole board's counts: each card with the candidate's place, UMatch, steps, card footer (what is next), invitation and contact state. Contact details only on request, to those who may contact the Job's candidates.
Read
pipeline.activity
MCP pipeline_activity
Pipeline activity
One Job's Application updates, newest first: moves, decisions, placements and status changes, with who made them. 20 a page by default; pass `next` as `cursor` for older ones.
Read
pipeline.progress
MCP pipeline_progress
Progress facts
One Application's progress ledger, oldest first: applied, invited, work started and finished, evidence ready, gates, reviews, decisions, placements and dispositions, as ids and codes.
Read
pipeline.health
MCP pipeline_health
Pipeline health
One Job's to-dos as the Command Centre lists them, and the candidates who stopped moving, each with why, since when and who moves them: an operation you can run, or in words when someone else must (another recruiter, or Invyte, which handles it). Candidates come a page at a time.
Read
pipeline.situations
MCP pipeline_situations
Pipeline situations
Each undecided candidate on a Job with the facts that decide whether to act: UMatch fit against the Job's floor, how they engaged, their Decision path and its track, momentum against the Job, whether the Job still needs people, and nudges sent. `allowed` is what an agent may do for them now, already filtered by the nudge limits; fast-track candidates come first. Without `jobId`, every open Job you can see, one Job a page.
Read
pipeline.reviewTasks
MCP pipeline_reviewTasks
Human Review tasks
One Job's open Human Review tasks, a page at a time, with every group's step, instructions, task count and the paths a decision can take.
Read
signals.read
MCP signals_read
Read signals
What happened since your cursor on the Jobs you can see: contact, email delivery, progress, share and sourcing events, oldest first. Poll with the returned cursor.
Read
pipeline.bookmarks
MCP pipeline_bookmarks
Your bookmarks on a Job
The candidates you bookmarked on one Job's board. Bookmarks are private to you.
Read
pipeline.bookmark
MCP pipeline_bookmark
Bookmark candidates
Bookmark candidates on a Job's board, or remove the bookmark, for up to 100 at once. Bookmarks are private to you; nobody is told.
Write
pipeline.extendDeadline
MCP pipeline_extendDeadline
Give candidates more time
Extend the Pitch Room deadline by 1, 3, 7 or 14 days for up to 25 candidates whose deadline passed with steps still to do. Every candidate named must be due for it; anyone who isn't is named in the refusal, to leave out. Invyte emails each their new deadline, except candidates who haven't signed in yet, whose remaining steps wait on a check or review, or who have nothing left to do: the review and the result say per candidate who is emailed, and why not.
Reaches people
pipeline.undoNudge
MCP pipeline_undoNudge
Undo a Nudge
Call back a Nudge before it goes, by the notificationId pipeline.nudge or outreach.send returned, until its undoUntil. After that it has been sent and can't be undone.
Write
pipeline.previewReminders
MCP pipeline_previewReminders
Preview reminder emails
When reminder emails at an urgency (gentle, standard, finish today) would reach a candidate, or why none would. Schedules nothing; pipeline.setReminders does.
Read
pipeline.previewPlacement
MCP pipeline_previewPlacement
Preview placing a candidate at a step
What moving a candidate to a workflow step would do, as the board's Move dialog shows it: where they land and what they're asked to do; any Human Review or wait they're left at, and why; the path a Decision on the way takes; steps and other reviewers' open review tasks it closes; Intake checks it skips; work kept; work they started that must be confirmed; and whether they're emailed. A Decision that needs a path names its paths. Moves no one; pipeline.placeAtNode does.
Read
pipeline.placementMap
MCP pipeline_placementMap
Workflow steps for a candidate
Every step of a candidate's workflow, with where they are on each and whether they can be placed there now (and why not): activities, Decisions with their paths, Human Reviews, Short List and Reject. Use it to pick pipeline.previewPlacement's targetNodeId, including to undo a rejection.

Write
notes.delete
MCP notes_delete
Delete a note
Delete a note for good. Only its author, or an organization admin, may.

Talent Hub & sourcing

OperationWhat it doesEffect
sourcing.start
MCP sourcing_start
Start a sourcing run
Search external discovery partners for people who fit an open, published Job; nobody is contacted. Paid: one partner search for up to 50 people, counted against the Job's and organization's daily sourcing budget, so it shows what it draws on and waits for your go-ahead before it starts. External discovery must be on for the Job; with turnOn, the same go-ahead turns it on with those settings first.
WritePaid

Read
talent.matchesForJob
MCP talent_matchesForJob

sourcing.listProspects
MCP sourcing_listProspects
List a Job's prospects
Everyone a Job's sourcing found, across runs, and everyone added to it from Talent Hub (their `sourcingRunId` is null), newest first: where they work, how well they matched, and whether they were invited or applied. Each `id` is what `sourcing.setProspectStatus` takes, and each `personKey` what Talent Hub reads take.
Read
sourcing.invite
MCP sourcing_invite
Invite a prospect to apply
Email a Sourcing prospect for this Job an invitation to apply. They apply like anyone else; nothing is shared or created until they do.

sourcing.saveSettings
MCP sourcing_saveSettings
Save a Job's External discovery settings
Set what External discovery partners look for on a Job (up to five criteria, each required or nice to have) and which contact details they look up, and turn External discovery on. Saving starts no search now: on a published Job start one with sourcing.start; on a draft Job, publishing it (jobs.publish) starts one paid search within the daily sourcing budget. Other channels keep their setting.
Write
sourcing.cancelRun
MCP sourcing_cancelRun
Stop a sourcing run

Write
sourcing.refreshRun
MCP sourcing_refreshRun
Refresh a sourcing run
Check a running External discovery search with the partner now instead of at its next scheduled check, as Refresh on the Sourcing tab does. A finished run is returned as it is.
Write
sourcing.setProspectStatus
MCP sourcing_setProspectStatus
Change a prospect's status
Move a person sourcing found for a Job to another status (prospect, outreach sent, invite sent, engaged, closed with a reason), with an optional note. Nobody is contacted.
Write
sourcing.setChannel
MCP sourcing_setChannel
Turn a Talent Hub channel on or off for a Job
Turn Your Talent Hub (your organization's own applicants) or the Invyte Network on or off as a source of matches for a Job. Ranking matches is free; nobody is contacted. Changes nothing else.
Write
sourcing.checkTopMatches
MCP sourcing_checkTopMatches
Check top matches with UMatch
UMatch reads every résumé in a Job's Talent Hub matches not yet checked, closest first, against the Job's requirements, as the Sourcing tab's "Check with UMatch" does. Each new person uses one of the Job's daily UMatch checks and the check stops when they run out; people already checked are free. The result counts the people queued for UMatch apart from those already judged (none yet when it answers); judgements land in talent.matchesForJob as they finish.

MCP contacts_findEmail
Find email
Look up an email for one person sourcing or the Invyte Network found, so they can be invited to a Job, as Find email does. Addresses already on file are free; otherwise it uses one of your organization's daily contact lookups (a paid credit when it finds an email) and finishes within a minute: ask again then, free, to learn whether it found one (on_file) or not (not_found). The address is never shown; invite them with sourcing.invite.

The link stays the same. Pass the list's `version` from shares.get: if anyone changed the list since, nothing changes and the call is refused. Only share lists can be edited; a fixed share can be reshared instead.

shares.duplicate
MCP shares_duplicate
Duplicate a share list
Share the candidates of a Job's share list again as a new list, with the same visibility: by default named '<name> (copy)', with the same recipients (except revoked ones), note and expiry. Each recipient gets an email invitation. Pass the list's `version` from shares.get: a list changed since is refused.
Reaches people
shares.reshare
MCP shares_reshare
Reshare a fixed share
Share a fixed (older, non-list) Candidate Share's candidates with new people: a new share showing what the original still can. Each recipient gets an email invitation. Share lists are duplicated instead.
Reaches people
shares.close
MCP shares_close
Close a share
Close a Candidate Share for good: nobody can open it again and pending access requests can no longer be approved.

shares.revokeRecipient
MCP shares_revokeRecipient
Revoke someone's access to a share
Take one recipient's access to a Candidate Share away now (the recipient ids are in shares.get).

shares.extendRecipient
MCP shares_extendRecipient
Extend someone's access to a fixed share
Move when one recipient's access to a fixed Candidate Share ends to a later date. A share list's access ends with the list: change it with shares.update.
Write

MCP shares_resendInvitation
Resend a share invitation
Email one recipient their invitation to a Candidate Share again, with a fresh sign-in link.

shares.accessRequests
MCP shares_accessRequests
List a share list's access requests

Read
shares.decideAccessRequest
MCP shares_decideAccessRequest
Approve or deny an access request
Decide a pending request for access to a share list. Approving emails them an invitation to the list; denying tells them on the request page that it was declined.

shares.undoAccessDecision
MCP shares_undoAccessDecision
Undo an access request decision
Undo the decision on an access request: an approval takes the access it gave away again; a denial puts the request back to pending.

shares.preview
MCP shares_preview
Preview a share as its recipients see it
What recipients of a Candidate Share see right now, per candidate: the name (unless hidden), the sections they see masked, the evaluation, each interview and assessment round at its level, and whether the resume file and hiring team notes are shared. Recordings and files open only in the app.

shares.createFromTalentHub
MCP shares_createFromTalentHub
Share a Talent Hub shortlist
Share up to 25 people from your Talent Hub, without a Job, as a live list. Each recipient gets an email invitation and signs in with a code. Contact details are never shared; each person may carry a 'why they match' line. People who haven't agreed to be shared or aren't verified are flagged in the review. Name the request it answers (`requestId`) to send a request's Talent Hub shortlist.

delivery.deliver
MCP delivery_deliver
Send candidates to a Client
Send a Job's candidates to its Client: one email from your agent to the Client's contacts, copying your team on the Job, and a Slack card when the Client's channel is connected. On a Job with no Client, its hiring team (everyone assigned to the Job, or the admins when nobody is) gets the same shortlist and email. Each candidate hears their profile was shared. If the hiring side already heard about this Job in the last day, the candidates go with the next follow-up as "N more added".
Reaches people
delivery.status
MCP delivery_status
Delivery status for a Job
What was sent to the Job's Client and when, each candidate's current decision with the Client's reason, their response clock, and the next follow-up due on them.
Read
delivery.dueFollowUps
MCP delivery_dueFollowUps
Follow-ups due with Clients
The follow-ups due now on candidates waiting on Clients, one per Job and kind, in order. Computed from when each candidate was sent, so a missed check loses nothing.

delivery.followUp
MCP delivery_followUp
Send a follow-up to a Client
Send one due follow-up for a Job (from `delivery.dueFollowUps`): a reminder, digest, 72h notice or courtesy-day note to the Client, or the escalation to the Client's account owner (also due at once when every channel refused a delivery). Refused when it is not due.
Reaches people
delivery.responseTimes
MCP delivery_responseTimes
Client response times
Per Client: candidates waiting and the oldest, how many were decided, median and average hours to a decision, and escalations. Over the Jobs you can see.
Read
client.decide
MCP client_decide
Record a Client's decision on a candidate
Record that the Client approved or passed on a candidate they were sent, as they told you by email, Slack or on a call. It stops the candidate's response clock and never moves the candidate; the Client gets a short note confirming it, with how to change or undo it. A later decision replaces it.
Reaches people
client.undoDecision
MCP client_undoDecision
Undo a Client's decision on a candidate
Take back the Client's current decision on a candidate, as they asked. Name the decision (`decisionId` from `delivery.status`) so a newer one is never undone. The candidate waits on the Client again and the Client gets a short note confirming it.
Reaches people
client.request
MCP client_request
Record a Client's request
Record what a Client asked for: more candidates, a requirement change, a pause or a new role. The intake agent drafts the change, the account owner approves it and the Client confirms it; a Client never edits a Job.
Write
client.requests
MCP client_requests
Read a Client's requests
What a Client asked for, in their words: one request by id (the `requestId` a `client.requested` signal carries), or the latest 20, newest first, optionally about one Job.
Read
requests.address
MCP requests_address
Your requests address
The organization's open address: anyone may email a hiring need there (an agency can forward its own jobs@ address to it), and it becomes a request waiting to be accepted. Null while inbound email isn't set up.
Read
requests.list
MCP requests_list
List requests
What clients and anyone else asked for, newest first: the organization's, one Client's or one Job's, optionally by status, with how many there are in each status. A New, Clarifying or Ready request came from someone who isn't a Client yet and waits for a person to accept or decline it.
Read
requests.get
MCP requests_get
Read a request
One request by id, or the open request on a conversation thread (an unknown sender's): its words, the facts given so far, what is still missing and where it stands.
Read
requests.missing
MCP requests_missing
What a request still misses
The request with what is still unknown (`missing`), worked out from its facts: ask the sender only for these, never for anything else.
Read
requests.submit
MCP requests_submit
Record a request
Record what someone asked for: a new role, a change to a live Job (name the Job), more candidates, a pause. A person's own request is trusted and accepted at once. An agent relaying a message names the thread it came on, and trust comes from who wrote it: a Client's contact is accepted at once, someone unknown waits for a person to accept it, and nothing is created or spent before then.
Write
requests.amend
MCP requests_amend
Add what a sender told us to their request
Add the facts the sender gave since (title, location, compensation, start date, must-haves, company). A New or Clarifying request with nothing missing becomes Ready for a person to accept. Facts are their words, never guesses.
Write
requests.accept
MCP requests_accept
Accept a request
Take on a request from someone who isn't a Client yet: into one of your Clients, or a new Client named here (its first hiring manager is the sender). Autopilot's Intake works it, or you do (`assignTo: me`). Any member may accept.
Write
requests.decline
MCP requests_decline
Decline a request
Turn a request down, with the reason your team sees. Nothing is created and the sender isn't told by this.
Write
requests.match
MCP requests_match
Match a new role against Talent Hub
Find the people ready to go for an accepted new role with no Job yet: a strong fit on the job-description search, identity verified and agreed to be shared. They are recorded on the request as its shortlist, with the target and whether a Job is needed too (fewer than the target). Once per request: a matched request answers with its shortlist without searching again. The search counts against your daily search budget.
Write
requests.noteShortlist
MCP requests_noteShortlist
Note progress on a request's shortlist
Record that the client was told about the request's shortlist (`told`), or that someone the client picked on it was asked to be added to the request's Job (`added`, their key). A request with nothing else owed is then done.
Write
requests.resolve
MCP requests_resolve
Mark a request done
The request is done: name the Job it made or changed and say in one line what was done. A request with a Talent Hub shortlist still to share keeps the Job and is done once the shortlist goes.

Outreach & email

OperationWhat it doesEffect
outreach.send
MCP outreach_send
Email people about a Job
Send one message, with {first name} filled in, to up to 25 people for a Job: applicants get it as a Nudge, Talent Hub people (by the key `talent.list` gave, an Invyte Network person's `person_v1.…` key included) with their Add to Job email, which asks them first unless they said yes to roles like this, Sourcing prospects with an invitation to apply. It goes from your connected mailbox when you use one (at most 300 a day and 30 a minute; the rest wait), else from Invyte with replies to you. People who can't be emailed are skipped with the reason. Each Nudge comes back with its notificationId and undoUntil: pipeline.undoNudge calls it back until then. The review lists each email with its recipient as given.
Reaches people
outreach.draft
MCP outreach_draft
Draft an email about a Job
Write a fresh subject and opening for an email about a Job, from the Job alone (never from the people it goes to): it starts "Hi {first name},", stays under 80 words and leaves out what Invyte adds below it (links, consent wording, the next step). Name the emails it goes out as in `kinds`. To give each person a sentence of their own, ask outreach.personalLines and send each person their own message. A paid model call: send an idempotency key, and a retry with it never pays again (a call that did not finish returns the draft it already wrote; a finished one replays without it). Nothing is sent.
WritePaid
outreach.personalLines
MCP outreach_personalLines
Write a personal line for each person
One sentence per Talent Hub person or Sourcing prospect on why their background fits the Job, written from facts on their profile and checked against them, with those facts as its basis. A person whose profile is too thin gets null. At most 10 people a call. Lines for the same facts, Job and tone are reused for 30 days, so a retry pays nothing; new ones take one model call. AI clients and agents name Invyte Network people by the opaque key their anonymous card carries, and their lines are written only from that anonymous card (no name, employers, schools or highlights). Nothing is sent.

Write

Read your inbox
Your inbox, newest first, a page at a time (20 by default, at most 50): each group says what happened and on which Job or candidate. Pass `nextCursor` for the next page. To mark read or archive, pass an item's `groupKey` and the `through` this read returned.

correspondence.thread
MCP correspondence_thread
Open an email thread
The email thread with a candidate about a Job (jobId + personKey) or with one of a Client's contacts (clientId + clientContactId), opened on first use: its state, its latest messages and whether a message can be sent now. A candidate thread opens only for an applicant or someone whose request for the Job is still open; nobody is cold-emailed. Replies arrive on the thread.

Read
correspondence.send
MCP correspondence_send
Send an email on a thread
Email the thread's person from Invyte ("{First} at {Company} via Invyte", or the company alone for an agent), with replies coming back to the thread. Plain text. The first message needs a subject. With compose, Invyte writes the email for that purpose from the Job, the candidates the person may see and the thread, using body as what to say (and as the email when it can't write one); the review shows the words and why. Held until morning in the person's quiet hours (21:00–08:00 their time) or past their daily cap (heldUntil says when it goes); an answer to their own message is outside the cap. Refused when the person can't be written to now (withdrew, asked us to stop, asked not to be emailed, the Job stopped taking candidates, no longer the Client's contact).
Reaches people
correspondence.withdraw
MCP correspondence_withdraw
Record that a person asked us to stop
The thread's person asked not to be contacted again ("please stop emailing me"): nothing more goes on the thread, and the opt-out reaches every other sender. An applicant stops getting this Job's application emails and can't be nudged; someone with no Application is no longer emailed about roles. Use only when the person said so themselves.

Approve or reject
Approve or reject an action an agent is waiting on, or approve it with your own edits. The agent goes ahead only after an approval, with exactly what was approved. Read it with approvals.get, then send the whole input with your changes.
